Anyhow, Sandra's sister Pam, who handles all of Sandra's fan correspondance, wrote Joe back and forwarded his message on to Sandra... and a few days later, Sandra personally responded, which was exciting enough in itself. But then she went ahead and sent us these amazing gift bags! Charlie and Lily each got an autographed copy of one of her book/CD combos and a stuffed animal - and aardvark and a rhinoceros. A gift bag for Joe and me contained two ties (which Joe can't wait to wear to work), coffee, a mom's calendar (that I had put on my Christmas list!) and birthday planner, CD and book.
Celebrating our miracle micro-preemies, Charlie and Lily, born 15 weeks early. Forever triplets with their angel sister, Annaleigh.

Wow, how touching! I've yet to pick up any of these books for DD, but I know you guys have been fans for a long time.
Absolutely touching! Thank you so, so much for sharing this (and all your stories) with the world.
Amazing! I was a fan of her books before but now I plan gifting her books to all my friends. What an amazing author and person.
We love her books too, but I love her even more now for being even more amazing then I thought before.
How beautiful! What an amazing gift.
Sooo wonderful! We also LOVE Sandra in our house, but I always wonder...why do the animals get ready for bed and THEN go up to exercise???
