We're home :)

Our move is complete and we're busy getting settled in our new home. Everything went super smoothly on moving day. Thanks to Grandpa Fred for helping us haul dresser drawers to the new house, and to Uncle John for taking apart and reassembling the cribs, hanging the blinds and putting up the video monitors (and for everything else he probably did that I didn't even see.) And thanks to Crackers for watching Charlie and Lily on moving day. Keeping two babies amused in a house that is slowly being emptied is not an easy task. We also need to say a big thanks to Grandma Anne for coming over to baby-sit Friday so that Joe and I could unpack. We're happy to report that we have almost everything unpacked and organized, and we even managed to get out some Christmas decorations and put up a tree. We should be able to relax and enjoy the holidays in our new home, and we can't wait!

Charlie and Lily love their new basement play room.
Moving is fun!

Hi, I am the mother of 13 yr old daughter (IUI) and B/G 3 year old twins (IVF) and enjoy reading your blog. Another blog I follow is southernbabies. Like yourself they have B/G surviving triplets. They lost Adam at 12 hours old. Mom Jamie posted this on her blog and I thought of you when I read.....

Elizabeth Edwards.....she seemed to be a upstanding lady who was dealt her share of hard times. One of her hardships was the loss a 16 year old son in a car wreck in 1996.

I read a quote of hers today and it hit close to home.

"If you know anyone who has lost a child or someone that is important to them and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad, by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died and you're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remember that they lived and that is a great, great gift."

Just wanted to let you know someone who has never met you, is thinking of Annaleigh.

Eileen - How very sweet. I second that. I read recently that sometimes in difficult circumstances people say nothing because they don't know what to say or are afraid they will say the wrong thing. Often times a person would appreciate even an awkward "I don't know what to say but I'm thinking of you."

Happy Holidays to your family this Christmas as you enjoy your new home.
